Permanent Exhibition

Event Navigation

Located on the main floor of the museum, Punching the Clock offers interactive information on working life in a textile mill, steel factory, and auto plant. What was it like when children worked in textile mills? What does an assembly line look like? This exhibit will shed light on working conditions, on gains made by workers in factories and also provide information on the gains made by health and safety activists about health and safety in the workplace.
