COVID-19 and Masking

WAHC values the health and safety of our community, staff, and volunteers.

WAHC requires that masks be worn by all visitors during events, drop-in visits, and private rentals and that take place during WAHC’s public hours of operation. Masks are optional for private events held at Custom House via our rental program outside of our public hours of operation. Masks are available to anyone who needs one during their visit at our visitor services desk.

Washrooms

We have two gender-neutral accessible washrooms, and the washrooms are in the basement. Each multi-stall washroom has a power-assisted entrance. One stall inside each washroom can accommodate mobility devices and is equipped with grab bars.

Service Animals and Support Persons

Support persons are welcome to provide any services needed in the museum and all service animals are welcome.

Driving and Parking

Stuart Street is a two way street and there is plenty of free street parking, as well as free parking in the West Harbour Go Station parking lot.

Please feel free to contact Cayley James, Outreach and Development Specialist at 905-522-3003 x 21 or by email at cayley@wahc-museum.ca if we can do anything to make your visit more comfortable.
