Our 20th year has been a milestone year for us, with new programming for children and youth, a 20 artist, multi-disciplinary exhibition and program to celebrate 20 years at WAHC, and a series of special anniversary events held throughout the year. To ensure we can run meaningful programming for the next 20 years, we have started the 20th Anniversary Fund.
While our core operating funding ensures that our building stays open, it doesn't cover the cost of special programming or building capital replacements. The 20th Anniversary Fund will go towards much needed building repair and restoration of our heritage building in the coming years; and will support new programming initiatives. With the support of our organizational allies, we have raised just over $17,500 towards our 20th Anniversary Fund.
With your help, we will raise $20,000 - $1,000 for every year of WAHC's history - that will help protect our future.
