WAHC’s Youth Council are a diverse group of youth with an interest in art, activism, labour and social justice who take on leadership and volunteer roles at WAHC. Last year, the Council hosted a three-part outdoor activist screening series called Solidarity on Screen. In 2016, our inaugural council hosted a political banner making workshop, and a four-part event series called Solidarity School that was capped off by a concert by Mother Tareka and the Rebel Function in our Main Gallery! We are looking for new Youth Council members for the 2017/18 year.
