Browse a selection of over 500 pinback buttons from WAHC’s permanent collection currently on view in our community gallery.
Pinback buttons are powerful symbols of solidarity, struggle, and identity which reflect the values of their wearer. These delightfully common objects have been worn for generations and play an important role in communicating and promoting social change. Whether they are donned at the picket line or used in an awareness-raising campaign, buttons reflect values of strength and collective action across social movements.
