Calling all youth 16-29! Join members of WAHC's new Youth Council for a hands-on banner making workshop. Banners are a great way to combine text and visual art to make a statement. Inspired by the work of Deirdre Logue and Allyson Mitchell (FAG Art Gallery) in 20/20 Vision/Hindsight, we will make our own fabric banners using quick and easy techniques that require little more than fabric scraps and an iron.
Refreshments will be served! This program is free to attend, and all materials will be provided.
This program is part of the 20/20: Vision/Hindsight, Celebrating 20 Years at WAHC, which includes four months of diverse programming that includes music and dramatic performances, a group exhibition and programs for children and youth.
