With curator Suzanne Carte and artist Alejandro Tamayo
Join us for a walk and talk of our current group exhibition Division of Labour. Suzanne Carte, curator, will discuss the curatorial vision for the exhibition, and one of the artists, Alejandro Tamayo, will delve into his work. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the people involved!
The exhibition brings artists into dialogue on the subjects of class, race, and labour as they relate to cultural waste. Barter economy systems, critical discourse about community action around consumption, and circuits of solidarity exchange are more present than ever in the daily working lives of artists and cultural producers. More info on the exhibition here.
