One Small Drop Performances | 6:15 pm and 7 pm (limited seating)
One Small Drop is a piece of collectively-created theatre using text from personal accounts of women who are part of Hamilton’s labour history. The performance explores a few of the intertwined stories of women in Hamilton’s textile industry. Music and sound transport the viewer as we invite the audience to witness the personal and private thoughts of women from three different eras. This original piece was created for the Frostbites Festival, Hamilton Fringe. One Small Drop is Directed by Kelly Wolf, and features local theatre artists Paula Grove, Sara Dickenson and Violet Gould.
Hamilton, Industry and Globalization Panel discussion | 7:30 pm
Moderated by Rob Kristofferson (Laurier University). Panelists include Rob Kristofferson, Joanne Webb (CUPE 7800/Hamilton Regional Indian Centre), June Corman (Brock University), Rolf Gerstenberger (Retiree, USW 1005) and a representative from Justicia for Migrant Workers (J4MW).
