Save the date! Tuesday December 12 from 7:30-8:30pm is WAHC’s next Youth Council meeting. Are you, or someone you know, between the ages of 16-29, interested in workers’ rights, labour history and social justice? WAHC’s youth council is seeking vibrant young people passionate about labour, art and social justice. Members serve one year terms which begin each fall and end in the summer. Meetings are monthly, sometimes biweekly, during busier periods. With support from WAHC staff, youth council organizes collaborative events and projects in collaboration with the wider community that aim to empower and uplift young workers. The December meeting of Youth Council will take place at the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre.
