Save the date! Friday January 19 from 4-5 pm is WAHC’s next Youth Council meeting. Are you, or someone you know, between the ages of 16-29, interested in workers’ rights, labour history and social justice? WAHC’s youth council is seeking vibrant young people passionate about labour, art and social justice. Members serve one year terms which begin each fall and end in the summer. Meetings are monthly, sometimes biweekly, during busier periods. With support from WAHC staff, youth council organizes collaborative events and projects in collaboration with the wider community that aim to empower and uplift young workers. The January meeting of Youth Council be a hybrid meeting, members may join via Zoom or on person at Workers Arts and Heritage Centre.
