The Central Neighbourhood Association (CNA), in collaboration with WAHC, is coordinating a storytelling project that celebrates the past as we create the future. With this project, CNA aims to examine the history and heritage of the neighbourhood, developing a collective expression and valuing of its history, and a shared sense of pride.
Stories from Central is a series of workshops focusing on stories of homes, heritage and personal tales that will culminate in a walking tour of the neighbourhood on May 3 starting at 1:00 p.m. at WAHC. Coordinated by Lisa Pijuan-Nomura, put your walking shoes on, bring your kids, and join us for an afternoon of captivating storytelling by many of our neighbours!
