SUMMARY:Off The Beaten Path: Mapping Labour and Race in Hamilton
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to unveil the second edition of the interactive mapping project\, Off the Beaten Path\, crafted by the students from the School of Labour Studies at McMaster University. By collecting the personal stories and historical events of everyday Hamiltonians the students are able to explore social issues through the lens of labour and race. Their projects are creative interpretations of these diverse and dynamic stories. This is an ongoing project and you can catch up on last year’s projects by heading to their interactive map here. Or come by WAHC to see the stories for yourself!  An opening reception and presentations of this year’s works will take place Thursday\, April 2nd from 12-1:30pm at WAHC. This event is open to the public as well as those affiliated with McMaster. You can save your spot by filling out the form below.
