Join Stelco retiree, archivist and community member Stephen Lechniak for a special one-night gathering commemorating the closure of Stelco’s 12-10 mill in 1987.
A slideshow, talk and display of Lechniak’s personal archive of Stelco photographs and memorabilia will be among the events planned honouring those who worked at the Mill, both unionized and salaried. The families of former employees, retirees and the general public are all welcome.
Refreshments will be served. This is a free event. An accessible entrance can be found on the east side of the building.
