Join us for Second Saturdays this season from 1-4pm for FREE family drop-in activities at the museum, led by special guest artists! Projects draw inspiration from our Main Gallery exhibition, Thirty for Thirty.
Comic Arts with Sid Sharp
In WAHC’s final Second Saturday for 2025, children and families are invited to join author-illustrator Sid Sharp to learn about the art of storytelling with graphic novels. Participants will be invited to explore storytelling through a comic activity and collaborative collage, and Sid will lead a reading of their novel Bog Myrtle at 1:15.
This workshop is appropriate for children ages 9-12. Participation is free and materials will be provided.
All children must be supervised by an adult.
