Presented in conjunction with the Confronting Global Capital: Strengthening Labour Internationalism and Transnationalism Today Conference of McMaster University.

When They Win, We Win: International Solidarity and the Labour Movement is a crowd-sourced exhibition that pays tribute to the international solidarity work done by Canadian unions, organizations and individuals.

View materials such as banners, posters, artist-designed t-shirts, letters, ephemera, publications and more produced and collected by a number of contributors, including D’Arcy Martin, the Ontario Secondary School Teacher’s Federation, United Steelworkers, the Argentinean Network for the Right to Identity and others. This collection conveys the role of documentation, materials and objects as vehicles and vessels for furthering solidarity work.

Join us for the reception of When They Win We Win on opening night of the Confronting Global Capital: Strengthening Labour Internationalism and Transnationalism Today Conference in WAHC’s Community Gallery on Thursday, October 12th from 5 – 9:30 pm.
