Activist Printmaking on Fabric with Cleopatria Peterson
Join artist Cleopatria Peterson to learn hands-on linocut printmaking techniques on fabric!
Participants will hear from Cleopatria about their personal practice using printmaking as an accessible activist art form. We will then create lino cut prints on fabric inspired by objects from WAHC’s archives. Bring your own clothes to print on, or print on our bandanas!
Beginners welcome, participation is free and materials will be provided. The workshop is limited to 15 participants– please register below. To be added to the waitlist, email ada@wahc-museum.ca.
WAHC wishes to acknowledge the Ontario Arts Council, the City of Hamilton, the Province of Ontario, CUPE National, the Canada Council for the Arts, Canada’s Building Trades Unions, OPSEU/SEFPO and Teamsters Local Union 879 for their support of our exhibitions and ancillary programs.
