Are you 16-29? Do you have an interest in art, activism, labour and social justice?
Join WAHC’s Youth Council for a chance to meet artists, and design events and projects that will allow you to have your say and critically engage with local communities with the support of WAHC staff!
Get involved in either a leadership capacity, designing programs and meeting other youth leaders, or in a volunteer capacity, getting your 40 community engagement hours at our Centre.
Past projects of our Youth Council include designing and organizing a labour-themed screening series, contributing a project to a symposium about art and gentrification, and more.
We would love to have you take part– our first meeting will take place in November!
