29th Annual Sam Lawrence Dinner

November 8th, 2024
6pm-10pm
King George Ballroom at LiUNA Station
360 James St. N, Hamilton ON

It’s that time of year again! Join us Friday, November 8th for the 29th annual Sam Lawrence Dinner.

With a big birthday just around the corner, WAHC has been reflecting on our past, present and future as Canada’s only labour history museum and multidisciplinary arts centre. We couldn’t have made it to 2024 without the incredible community of supporters whose collective contributions have sustained our organization for nearly 30 years. The Sam Lawrence Dinner is a chance for us to bring all those people under one roof and celebrate what we have been able to achieve together.

But SAM 29 isn’t just a dinner. This year’s event will feature a variety of unique prizes to bid on as part of the always popular Silent Auction. From tickets and memberships to memorabilia and one of a kind experiences – there’s sure to be something for every taste.

We are also delighted to announce that Hamilton’s own TUESDAY CHOIR led by Tor Lukasik-Foss will be performing at the top of the evening!

We hope to see you there.

If you can’t attend in person, you can support us by buying a solidarity ticket or table for artists and volunteers or an advertisement in the evening’s program! Or you can always purchase one of our new memberships – there are multiple tiers and ways to give and designed with accessibility in mind. Pick which one is best for you! Solidarity, Supporting or Sustaining. Whichever you choose it all goes towards ensuring the sustainability of WAHC for years to come.
